Chason Matthams received both his
BFA and MFA from New York University
where he also teaches painting and
drawing. Matthams lives and works
in New York and has shown his artwork
there and in San Francisco and Los
Portraits. Tyler Wood Gallery.
Janna Ireland received her BFA (’07)
from New York University and MFA (’13)
from University of California Los Angeles.
In 2013 she had a one-person exhibition
at Schneider Gallery, Chicago, and was
awarded the Snider Prize from the
Museum of Contemporary Photography
at Columbia College in Chicago.
Ireland lives and works in New York.
Having studied at the University of
British Columbia, Dan Starling went
on to complete a BFA from Emily Carr
University of Art + Design (2005) and
a Meisterschüler from the Städelschule,
Frankfurt (2011). He has recently made
the longlist for the Sobey Art Award 2014,
in the West Coast/ Yukon.
Eleanor Oakes received her BA in Visual
Arts and Art History from Princeton
University in 2007 and her MFA from
Stanford University in 2014. She was
awarded a Murphy and Cadogan
Contemporary Art Award in 2013 and
the Anita Squires Fowler Award from
Stanford in 2014. Oakes lives and works
Carol Jackson’s recent one-person
exhibitions include Corbett vs. Dempsey,
Chicago; Tyler Wood Gallery, San Francisco;
and Threewalls, Chicago. Recent group
exhibitions include the 2014 Whitney
Biennial, curated by Anthony Elms;

teaches at the University of Chicago.
She received her MFA from The School
of the Art Institute of Chicago in 1992.
